Efficient parcel sorting with compact system
At Ferrum Group, we have developed a compact and efficient parcel sorting system that can be used and add value in companies and industries of all sizes. The film shows a system delivered to Temashop.dk, an e-commerce company handling many daily parcels for consumers buying costumes and costume items on Temashop’s large online shop. The system handles large and small parcels, envelopes, foil bags, etc. and has significantly streamlined parcel sorting at Temashop.
Easy operation and space-saving layout
The parcel sorter for Temashop occupies approximately 200 m2, including the operational area. In addition to conveyors, the system also includes several pusher modules for products with 8 fractions and 1 ‘unread product’. Furthermore, there are 9 chutes for products made of stainless steel AISI 304, including freewheeling rollers.
In terms of capacity, the system efficiently supports the sorting of 1,000 packages per hour. It can be expanded with measuring and weighing functions as well as the option to send data to your own ERP system for accurate billing of transportation prices. Operating the system is easy with a clear 9″ touchscreen and control panel. Sorting keys can also be easily changed by uploading data directly from spreadsheets, XML, CSV. The package sorting system is CE marked according to applicable regulations.
