Robot pallet inspection with 2d/3d vision and configurable tolerances

Our robot pallet inspection and sorting solution combines robotic pallet handling with sensor-based inspection to evaluate pallet condition from multiple angles. Depending on your requirements, we integrate proven 2d camera inspection and 3d scanning—often based on SICK scanners and SICK 3d laser scanning such as the SICK TriSpector 3D platform. This enables reliable defect detection even when pallets vary in wear, colour, repairs, or surface contamination.

In practice, pallets are fed into an automated inspection zone where conveyor flow, controlled positioning, and machine vision verify each pallet against defined tolerances.
