Case Packers for Efficient and Flexible End-of-Line Packaging

Case packers play a critical role in modern end-of-line packaging by ensuring products are packed into cartons efficiently, consistently, and securely. Depending on product characteristics, required capacity, and layout constraints, different case packing principles offer distinct advantages.

Our portfolio of case packers is designed to cover a wide range of applications and production requirements. It includes drop type carton wrappers, linear carton wrappers, side feeding carton wrappers, and side loading carton wrappers. Each model is engineered to deliver reliable performance, gentle product handling, and seamless integration into automated packaging lines.

The following sections present an overview of each case packer type, highlighting their working principles and typical applications to help you identify the solution best suited to your production needs.

Drop Type Carton Wrap Around Packer

Machine Introduction

A drop-type wrap around case packer is an automated packaging machine designed to load products vertically into a case blank and then form the case tightly around the product. It combines drop-packing with wrap around case forming, creating a compact, stable, and cost-efficient package.

The Case packer can handle various products such as Cans, Glass bottles and PET bottles.

Application

Linear Carton Wrap Around Packer

Machine Introduction

The Linear Carton Wrap Around Packer is an automated packaging machine that forms a wrap around carton from a flat cardboard blank and packs products into it in a straight-line (linear) flow.

It typically works like this:

  • Products (like cans or bottles) are collated into the correct pack pattern
  • A carton blank is picked, folded, and wrapped around the product group
  • The carton is sealed (using hot-melt glue)
  • The finished pack exits as a strong, retail-ready case for transport and stacking.

This type of packer is widely used in beverage lines because it delivers high output, stable packaging, and clean shelf presentation, while supporting efficient downstream case handling and palletizing

Features

Linear bottle dividing is used to group bottles according to the required pack configuration. Servo motor control ensures precise positioning and enables simple, reliable setup and adjustment.

Cardboard is conveyed to the chain by the carton loading mechanism; through coordinated operation of rotary folding units and indexing claws, the cardboard is folded and formed around the product edges.

The machine is controlled by PLC programming, with electrical components from internationally recognized brands, combined with reliable pneumatic systems and advanced electronic control technology.

The main unit features full servo control, with all functional operations centralized on the touch-screen human–machine interface (HMI).

The entire machine is equipped with safety doors and comprehensive safety protection devices in accordance with industrial safety requirements.

Applications

Side Feeding Carton Wrap Around Packer

Machine Introduction

The Side Feeding Carton Wrap Around Packer is an automated packaging machine that forms a wrap around carton from a flat blank while feeding the product in from the side rather than in a straight in-line direction.

General process flow:

  • Products (cans or bottles) are collated into the required pack pattern
  • The grouped products are pushed sideways into the packing station
  • A carton blank is picked, positioned, and wrapped around the product
  • The carton is folded and sealed (usually with hot-melt glue or mechanical locking)
  • The finished pack exits as a compact, stable, retail-ready case

Side-feeding packers are popular in beverage applications because they enable flexible line layouts, stable product handling, and high-speed carton packing, especially when space is limited or when multiple lanes need to be managed efficiently.

Application

Side Loading Wrap Around Case Packer

Machine Introduction

The Side Loading Wrap Around Case Packer is an automated packaging machine that creates a wrap around corrugated case from a flat blank and loads the product from the side before sealing the case for shipping.

General process flow:

  • Products (cans, bottles, or multipacks) are grouped into the correct case pattern
  • The product group is pushed sideways into the case-forming section
  • A corrugated blank is wrapped tightly around the product
  • The case is folded and sealed (usually with hot-melt glue)
  • The finished case exits as a strong, stable shipping-ready pack for palletizing and transport

This style of case packer is widely used in beverage production because it delivers high throughput, excellent case strength, and efficient use of floor space, while ensuring reliable handling of fast-moving, high-volume products.
